So it begins: my MA in Ceramics

Welcome to my first blog ever! This blog is intended to record my experiences, developments and insights gained while doing my MA in Ceramics for the next two years.

At the very beginning there seem to be so many possibilities and avenues one could pursue that one could easily loose one’s focus. However, I feel lucky that I am coming into this with an idea in which direction to develop my work but, at the same time, I also want to keep an open mind to new ideas and directions. It is very exciting.

After my initial meeting this summer with the course leader, Dave Binns, I have been working on a set of drawings, which I intend as my starting off point. Here is one example.
