White porcelain decorated with two underglazes and a clear glaze, 15 x 10.5 cm, 2014. This fish plaque was made by pressing into the clay the carved lino sheet left over from making my lino-cut fish prints. I then hand coloured them and added detail by scratching out patterns (sgraffito).

Stoneware decorated with white slip, dark oxide, one light glaze and different colours of molten glass, width 23 cm, 2007. Stoneware decorated with slip, oxide, different glazes and molten glass, width 24.5 cm, 2010. Here I have tried to add more textural variation by choosing to combine a matt with a shiny glaze.
